Shropshire Way Mammothon on Saturday - 26 miles of beautiful Shropshire countryside and mud!
Loved it - walked the uphill and ran some of the flat and downhill. Totally agree with Laura and her race report. Superbly organised event. If you love off road, navigating (or have an Andy or Amanda like I did 🙂), hills and food (food stations on the way round and a lovely beef or veggie stew at the end) this could be one to consider for next year. Pictures don't do justice to the amount of mud - quite a bit of the first half was just trying to stay upright! Huge well done to everyone who did the Mammothon - Amanda Lysons, Andy Duggan Mark Goodridge and Stephen Gill and Half Mammothon Jo Smith, Laura Mackinnon , Louise Stevens and Marie Thompson. Thank you for the support on the course and at the end too from Julie Spriggs and Paul Spriggs . |
