Apley Estate Autumn Challenge
Event Location: In the Private Estate Land of Apley Estate, Cheswardine Lane, Norton, Shifnal TF11 9EQ
**Please note, Wrekin Road Runners have been granted special access to this PRIVATE estate to run this event**
All parts of the Apley Estate are strictly private at all times other than for this race.
Following the fantastic sell out of the 2019 event and the disappointing cancellation in 2020 due to Covid-19, we are pleased to announce the 7th running of the Apley Estate Autumn Challenge, a multi-terrain event presented by Wrekin Road Runners and the Apley Estate.
This is non-profit event. As part of our agreement to use the Apley Estate for this unique race, Wrekin Road Runners are pleased to provide all proceeds to the Church of St Chad, Stockton. Runners of the 10K and 21K get to see this beautiful listed building during their race.

Prices are held at 2019 levels: 5k - £17, 10k - £19, 21k - £24 (+ £2 for non-affiliated athletes)
Price includes: Finishers medal, T-shirt, chip timing, Wenlock water, High5 nutrition, goody bag and a lovely piece of cake from the Apley Farm shop. There will be category prizes for each distance.
Plenty of free car parking available but please take care and have consideration for the land owner as well as other drivers.

All loops are slightly over-distance.
The 5k loop - 1 lap
The 10k loop - 1 lap
The 21k loop - 2 laps (consists of the 10k loop followed by an 11k loop)
We advise the use of trail shoes for all distances are more appropriate than spikes.

This is how a race should be run, easy to find, easy to park . Number collection as well as t shirt collection easy. If only the race was Easy!! Had a great morning all Marshall’s very supportive well done all.
